About Us –Unique Ibiza does exactly what it says on the tin. We are all about helping you choose the right rural, boutique and luxury hotel in Ibiza for your holiday. Unique hotels in Ibiza is a concept that has been hugely successful. It's a perfect opportunity to escape from the daily grind, unwind, recharge and discover your very own secret Ibiza in a hideaway rural, boutique or luxury retreat.

Our passion for Ibiza has led us to creating www.uniqueibiza.co.uk. Inspired as a result of the lack of inspiration and information available to us when we were researching and booking our own holiday to the island some years ago. We found it really difficult to speak to anyone with any knowledge of the rural, boutique and luxury hotels in Ibiza, and to make an informed decision based on prices, facilities, location and services. Our first experience of a rural hotel was the Casa Vilda Marge. We were slightly apprehensive not sure if we had made the right decision… but we needn’t have worried. The Casa Vilda Marge was an excellent choice. We had the swimming pool to ourselves most days. We were only 15 minute's drive from some of the islands best restaurants, and about 20 minutes from Ibiza Town. A similar journey time allowed us to discover some of the beautiful Ibiza beaches in the North of the island. These beaches are sparsely populated and yet being home to incredible sea food restaurants that suddenly became busy with the variety of boats that would congregate just away from the beach and ferry passengers to shore creating an excellent dining ambience.

A rural, boutique and luxury hotel allows you to really get to know, love and appreciate the true beauty of Ibiza… and you get to understand why so many people from all backgrounds love this island - from the rich and famous, to the creative and arty, through to people like us who just appreciate the finer things in life with a friendly atmosphere and an unhurried, stress free environment. It’s a different kind of holiday experience.

Ibiza is often hailed as a magical island with a rich and colourful history. The earliest recorded occupation was sometime in the 7th Century when the Phoenicians built settlements due to Ibiza's excellent location in the heart of the Mediterranean and it's potential as a strategic trading post which the Carthaginians realised when they took control. In the 1st Century AD Ibiza became part of the Roman Empire. Successive invasions created a turbulent past with the Arabs taking control until 1235, before the Christians invaded and improved on the fortifications which are still very evident today. A more peaceful invasion of sorts from the hippies in the 1970's has been instrumental in creating the Ibiza we know today. Their positive influence is evident over most of the island helping to create the unique vibe that is Ibiza today.
