What is Blue Marlin Beach Club?

Blue Marlin is a beach club in Ibiza located on the beach at Cala Jondal. There are now other Blue Marin venues but this is the original & the best. Blue Marlin Cala Jondal is open from May to October, and from Late June to middle of September you can expect it to pretty busy and buzzy.
There is a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine. You can also hire sun loungers for €18, and there is a minimum spend of €50.






You can also hire a large daybed for up to 4 people for €100 – the minimum spend is €300 to €500 depending on the day and time of year.
The vibe is lively, and the busiest day is every Sunday when the beach club is open until the small hours.

Blue Marlin can be reached in 20 to 30 minutes from most villas on the island but Unique Ibiza Villas have some villas close to Cala Jondal beach and the closest villas that we feature can be viewed here:

Ibiza Public Holidays (part one) - 5th August The public holiday in Ibiza on the 5 th August is celebrated every year and is known by a few names including: Santa Maria de las Nieves or Nuestra Senora de las Nieves (which translates as “Our Lady of the Snow”, which is interesting as there is not much snow in Ibiza!). August 24 - Patron Saints Day In San Antonio  24 th August is Patron Saints Day and each year the celebrations start from as early as the 18 th August (well this is Ibiza where every day is a celebration) and continue until early September. The Patron Saint of San Antonio is St Bartholomew. This main celebrations on the 24 th August start early at 8:30am, at 10:30am is a foam & water party (sorry children only). In the early evening after Mass is a procession through the streets, including the firecrackers to warn off evil spirits. The day culminates in fireworks at midnight – head to the mina square opposite the marina for the best vantage point. You can also expect to see some traditional dancing, and music ranging from rock to reggae. The celebrations date back to 1235 when the kingdom of Aragon took control of the island and introduced Christianity.
