Where is the best place to stay in Ibiza? Which is the best hotel in Ibiza?
These questions are frequently asked to us by our customers, family & friends – not an easy question to answer as “best”  depends on a number of factors including facilities & location and is likely to be quite personal.

For some people a large hotel dripping with services & facilities that you probably won’t use very much may well tick all the boxes (I’ve yet to see a busy hotel gym on my travels, and as for an onsite hairdresser…) but for others spending time close to noisy children (and noisier adults) may not be high on the priority list when thinking about your next Ibiza holiday.





However if you are looking for a small, boutique place to stay then you really should check out the (almost legendary) Finca Can Xuxu. This former family home of the owner is now one of the best kept secrets in Ibiza (as much of a secret you can have these days with Trip Advisor, but the point being that you probably won’t just stumble across this little corner of Ibiza).

There are only 12 bedrooms
Located in close to the west coast resort of Cala Tarida; so you can expect fantastic sunset views

August 24 - Patron Saints Day In San Antonio  24 th August is Patron Saints Day and each year the celebrations start from as early as the 18 th August (well this is Ibiza where every day is a celebration) and continue until early September. The Patron Saint of San Antonio is St Bartholomew. This main celebrations on the 24 th August start early at 8:30am, at 10:30am is a foam & water party (sorry children only). In the early evening after Mass is a procession through the streets, including the firecrackers to warn off evil spirits. The day culminates in fireworks at midnight – head to the mina square opposite the marina for the best vantage point. You can also expect to see some traditional dancing, and music ranging from rock to reggae.
